Keeping chickens in the back garden is as easy as keeping rabbits, guinea pigs or any other small animal. Chickens are intelligent and curious animals that respond well to being handled. They range in size, colour and shape to suit everyone and make brilliant pets for the whole family.
Hens make little noise so they will not bother the neighbours. Hens do not need a cockerel to lay eggs.
And the best reason to keep chickens is.. FRESH EGGS there is nothing better for breakfast than a freshly laid egg. You can taste the difference.
Productive Pets is a family hobby that helps ordinary people with little or no experience of keeping chickens to set up a coup in the back garden. We can help you get everything you need and can even come to your house to set it all up. We will answer emailed questions, provide help and advice if your chicken gets ill.
